- Develop education and skills needed to become a Community Health Worker including health promotion education, culturally-based mindful communication, social support and mentoring, and resource management
- Prepare to pass the state's Community Health Worker certification exam

Note: PUBH A003N meets online asynchronously and requires one in-person meeting. Pre-requisites are required for registration. A new cohort will begin in Fall 2025.
Additional Information
Coursework will take two semesters. Courses are noncredit (0 units) and tuition-free. It is recommended that students have an intermediate level of English and will need a High School Diploma or GED by program completion.
