Enrollment Steps for Noncredit Students
STEP 1: Complete Admissions Application
STEP 2: Check Email for Acceptance Letter with Login Information
STEP 3: Complete ELL Placement Test (ELL students only)
- An optional placement test will provide students with recommended level placement.
- Complete the to request the online test.
- The online test is approximately one hour.
- Student ID required.
STEP 4: Meet with an Academic Counselor
- Contact our office to schedule an academic counseling appointment to develop a Student Education Plan (SEP) based on your goals.
- Student ID required.
STEP 5: Attend New Student Orientation
- Contact our office for upcoming orientation dates.
STEP 6: Register for Classes
- Watch our How to Register for Classes video for help.
- For technical support with MyCoast or CANVAS, contact the Help Desk.
STEP 7: Purchase Textbooks & Parking Permit (if needed)

- Purchase a parking permit by visiting our Public Safety webpage.
STEP 8: Attend First Day of Classes
