“American Rhapsody” brings homespun classics to 첥Ƶ

Join us on Saturday, October 8th, for “American Rhapsody,” a concert featuring the 첥Ƶ Symphony, the 첥Ƶ Chorale, and the 첥Ƶ Chamber Singers, under the direction of Ricardo Soto and Eliza Rubenstein! The concert takes place in the Robert B. Moore Theatre at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available now at the 첥Ƶ Bursar’s Office, by calling (714) 432-5880, and online at . Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

Soprano  returns from the East Coast once more as the featured soloist in selections from George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and Leonard Bernstein’s Candide. Pianist Janelle Tag will perform Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with the 첥Ƶ Symphony. The 첥Ƶ choral ensembles will join the orchestra for works by Charles Ives and Aaron Copland. You’ll recognize some familiar tunes and discover some new favorites!
