For Beginners:
The ESL program also has a beginning-level Grammar/Reading/Writing course (ESL A015) and a beginning-level Listening & Speaking course (ESL A011). These two courses are not part of the regular sequence, but they can help students prepare for coursework in higher levels.
To Support ENGL/ESL 100 Students:
The ESL Program also added some noncredit support courses that are meant to assist ESL students in ENGL 100 or ESL 100. These five courses are zero units and zero textbook cost (ZTC/OER).

- A student who completed ESL 011 and/or ESL 015 in the Previous Course Sequence should enroll in ESL 024 and/or ESL 022.
- A student who completed ESL 021 and/or ESL 026 in the Previous Course Sequence should enroll in ESL 034 and/or ESL 032.
