2021 

Sept 15, 2021 -  Rendell Drew and Professor Brent Rudmann, discussed recent overturn of Roe v. Wade and covered the Jacobson v. Massachusetts vaccination case

2020

September 17, 2020 - 快播视频 professors Dr. Rendell Drew and Brent Rudman, discussed an overview of the Constitutions, the Voter Bill of Rights from a historical perspective and current events surrounding this topic. 

2019

September 18, 2019-  Dr. Rendell E. Drew and Professor Brent Rudman moderated a forum and panel discussion on the US Constitution. Topics included: A US Constitution Historical Overview, the 14th Amendment, and Open Discussion and a Presentation from the AS快播视频 Advocacy Committee.

September 20, 2017 -  Dr. Rendell E. Drew and Professor Brent Rudman moderated a forum and panel discussion on the US Constitution. Topics included: A review of the US Constitution, Immigration, DACA and the California Dream Act

September 21, 2016 -  Dr. Rendell E. Drew and Professor Brent Rudman moderated a forum and panel discussion on the US Constitution. Topics included: A review of the US Constitution, Immigration, Equal Rights/Civil Rights, Gay Marriage, Equal Pay for Women and Black Lives Matter Movement.

​September 17, 2015 - An educational opportunity for students to review the US Constitution with guest presenter​  Dr. Rendell Drew from 快播视频’s Political Science Department.  He engaged students in dialogue as to how the Constitution relates to the 14th Amendment, women's rights, personal & religious freedoms, freedom of speech, ​gay rights, and immigration​.

2014

September 16, 2014 - Erwin Chemerinsky, founding dean of UC Irvine Law School, and John Eastman, former dean of Chapman University Law School, went head to head in a debate on the controversial Second Amendment for Constitution Day.

September 17, 2014 - A lecture on constitutional issues was be given by Coast Community College District trustee and former U.S. Congressman Jerry Patterson, along with two of 快播视频's political science professors — Herrick Arnold and Rendall Drew.

September 18, 2013 - Former Congressman / Coast Trustee Jerry Patterson & 快播视频 Professor Dr. Herrick Arnold spoke on the United States Constitution & 快播视频 Professor Dr. Rendell Drew spoke on the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King's famous "I have a dream" speech in celebration with the 50th anniversary of that day and that speech.

September 19, 2013 - Dr. Erwin Chemerinsky (Founding Dean of UCI Law School) & Dr. John Eastman (Former Dean of Chapman University Law School) debated on the topic of: Marriage Redefined in One State or All? The Meaning and Impact of the Supreme Court's Marriage Decisions."

September 17, 2012 - Speakers included 快播视频 instructors Herrick Arnold and Rendell Drew and former congressman and Coast​ Community College District Trustee Jerry Patterson.  Patterson shared his experiences about his time as a congressman with Coast students and faculty.

September 14, 2010 - Dean of UCI's law school addressed political science and history students in the Robert B. Moore Theatre Tuesday about the current status of and his concerns about of the U.S. Supreme Court.

2009

September 17, 2009 - Dean of UCI's law school addressed "The War on Terror…and the Law". The Associated Students hosted​​ a Constitution Day Soapbox in which students, staff and faculty where able to discuss matters directed to the United States, including praise, criticism, reflection, challenges, etc. whether socially, politically, morally, internationally, militarily, economically, racially, etc. Presentations included music, poetry, recitations of current or historical speeches and writings.

2008

​September 17, 2008 - Former U.S. Congressman and CCCD trustee Jerry Patterson was a guest speaker in professor Kenneth Hearlson's political science class in Social Science room 101.  Political science instructors Rendell Drew and Herrick Arnold will also speak today. September 19, 2007 - Campus officials and professors spoke of our nation's constitution and shared their personal take on it, while emphasizing its application in today's issues, a student essay contest, and a version of "Imagine" by John Lennon played on electric guitar by music professor Joe Poshek.
